Samovar is a Khesthi type carpet from Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari provinces. This type of carpet, made of sheep’s wool characterizes itself through its design shaped with diverse thematic blocks. Above all, the main motifs in this piece are the vase with flowers and geraniums. This motifs relate with the feeling of love, the growth of life and maternal warmth. It measures 174x100x2 cm and its weaving has taken more than 1 year.

Description
The art of Kheshti rugs started from the inspiration that local nature provoked on ancient weavers. Subsequently, these methods and techniques became a tradition transmited for thousands of years. The rug carries the energy of its symbols and each symbol has a different story. The characters in this rug are above all the mad willow, the vase with its flowers, the geraniums, the Paisley, the roses, and Irises. It has taken almost a year to finish this piece of art.
